A Summer Camp Wedding in Upstate New York

A summer camp-themed wedding weekend in Upstate New York is sure to be a hit with your guests! Bring on the games, the joy, the excitement, and the core memories. Jordan and Brian did just that featuring a full weekend in Cazenovia, New York. Take a look at their weekend schedule and how they made Windridge Estate, a local destination weekend wedding venue, their own.

KICKING OFF THE SUMMER CAMP WEEKEND WITH FUN + GAMES

A custom map welcomed guests and showed them where activities would take place all around town. Guests were invited to sunset welcome drinks at the Cazenovia Club to kick off the weekend. More reverie followed at The Brae Loch Inn after that. The following day a softball game was held at Lakeside Park, a great way to start off a wedding morning! With each event, guests got to experience more of the town of Cazenovia.

A UNIQUE + COLORFUL WEDDING DRESS

Jordan chose a fun, floral, and colorful wedding dress, a unique pick that complimented her so well! The stunning choice stood out in the crowd and looked gorgeous with the hunter-green wedding party.

AN OUTDOOR CEREMONY FIT FOR SUMMER CAMP IN UPSTATE NEW YORK

The bride’s ensemble was a striking splash of color against the panoramic views. The birch arch was dressed up in colorful florals that complimented the dress well. Guests enjoyed waiving the custom pennant program flags as the couple exited with excitement.

COCKTAIL HOUR FEATURING A CANOE BAR

Afterward, guests mingled at cocktail hour outside by the bocce courts where they found a charcuterie display, popcorn, and lawn games. Games help reconnect old friends and help break the ice for wedding guests to make new ones! The camping lanterns on the cocktail tables added to the Summer Camp vibes along with the special bar. Undoubtedly, the hunter-green Old Town Canoe brought a fun interactive component for guests!

SUMMER CAMP WEDDING RECEPTION IN UPSTATE NEW YORK

Jordan and Brian outfitted the barn to become a true slice of summer camp. Custom Oxford Pennants hung in the entryway, colorful bunting was added around the room, and our favorite farm tables rounded out the design. The reception tables featured vintage china and mixed colorful napkins. Guests took home a custom enamel mug with the wedding emblem as a moment of the unforgettable weekend. A small C-store was created with nostalgic candies and toys filling vintage candy and apothecary jars. And of course, the firepit was roaring on the blue-stone patio with cozy wool blankets nearby to keep guests cozy throughout the evening. They transformed the Red Barn for the day into a true Summer Camp Experience!

Afterward, guests were all invited back to The Brae Loch to keep the party going! And not wanting to miss a beat, finally the next morning they returned to Windridge Estate for bagels and a pool party before heading home. One weekend surely felt like a full summer camp session when you make the most of all that Cazenovia has to offer!
