Are you looking for the perfect spot to enjoy the spectacular fireworks display in Cazenovia, NY this July 4th? Remember, the fireworks display will begin at dark -- typically at 9PM. Revisit the Revolution: Lorenzo’s America 250th Speaker Series

In commemoration of America’s 250th Anniversary Lorenzo State Historic Site is sponsoring a free Speaker Series featuring highly regarded historians, archaeologists, and authors specializing in the Revolutionary War era. This month we welcome Dr. Philip Levy for his presentation: George Washington's Cherry Tree in Fact and Fiction. The series will be hosted at Meier’s Creek Cazenovia Farm Brewery on the first Thursday of the month through November. It’s made possible by funding from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, and the partnership of Friends of Lorenzo and Meier’s Creek Brewing Company.

Admission is free.

The Lion’s Club is humbled by the level of support the community offers to ensure we achieve our fundraising goals. With that in mind we are asking you to consider making your tax-deductible donation unrestricted to help with not only this event but the many other initiatives we fund. Some of which include:

Vision screening for local school children and eye care if needed
Eyeglass repurposing and distribution
Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Cazenovia High School Student of the Month and Scholarships programs
