A Career Built on Helping Others

Allee didn’t set out to become a life insurance broker. After graduating with a B.S. in Forensic Science in 2019, she spent more than four years working in the healthcare industry. But during that time, she realized she wanted more—a career that allowed her to help people in a meaningful, lasting way.


“I stumbled upon life insurance at a time when I was really dissatisfied with my previous career,” Allee shares. “I’d always been drawn to helping people, but I wanted to rebuild myself while also making a real impact. Becoming a broker gave me that opportunity.”

Her personal experiences—both her own challenges and witnessing firsthand the difference between families who had financial protection and those who didn’t—inspired her to take the leap. Now, she’s committed to ensuring people don’t have to rely on GoFundMe pages or drain their savings during times of crisis.


More Than Just Policies

As an independent broker, Allee isn’t tied to a single company’s products. Instead, she has access to a wide range of top-rated carriers and can create truly customized solutions for each client.

One of the biggest challenges Allee faces is addressing the misconceptions around life insurance. Many people think it’s only for older adults, or that permanent life insurance is a “scam.” Others have had negative experiences with pushy agents.

“That’s not how I work,” she explains. “I lead with education—not pressure. My goal is to simplify the process, create space for honest conversations, and make sure clients walk away with a plan that truly fits their needs.”


Rooted in Community

Though born and raised in neighboring Chittenango, Allee has always loved Cazenovia and the strong sense of community here. She’s excited to deepen her local connections through workshops, partnerships with small businesses, and community events.


“I recently went to Pride in Cazenovia, and it was so beautiful to see the community come together,” she reflects. “That’s what I love about living and working here—people genuinely support one another.”


Looking Ahead

Allee has big plans for the future, including expanding her local presence, growing her online educational resources, and eventually hiring a small team to support her growing client base. But no matter how much her business evolves, her focus will always remain the same: caring for her clients like family.


“This isn’t just a job to me—it’s a mission,” she says. “I meet people where they are, without judgment, and I stay committed long after the paperwork is signed. My goal is to help people feel prepared, secure, and empowered to face whatever life brings.”
