Patrick McGuan is a sculptor, educator, and 2025 Visiting Artist at Stone Quarry Art Park. Their work focuses on labor and environmental history, visionary and devotional art, and modernist/postmodern literature. For the first STONE + SCRATCH, Patrick will share work shaped by time spent in a meadow on Stone Quarry's grounds where ash trees dying from the ash borer were felled. The evening includes an artist talk and a live choral performance.Learn more about the Patrick McGuan |
![]() From Scratch Kitchen and Farm is the creation of Caoline and Anna– two Cazenovia-based chefs committed to feeding both people and place. Their work centers local farms, regenerative practices, and the belief that food begins with relationships between people, land, and seasons.Every weekend, they serve a pop-up at Loka Leaf Tea Lounge, serving a coursed, reservation-only supper on Fridays and a laid-back, well-loved brunch on Sundays.STONE + SCRATCH is a new setting for their work: seasonal cooking shaped by each evening's artist and grounded in what's fresh, local, and alive in the landscape.Everything is made from scratch, with deep care for the farms they source from and the people they're cooking for. |
![]() Patricia Christakos is the inaugural Hilltop House Fellow at Stone Quarry Art Park. A multidisciplinary artist, designer, and curator, Patti brings a deep sensitivity to space, arrangement, and atmosphere—shaped in part by her early work as Dorothy Riester’s first assistant. For each STONE + SCRATCH event, she will curate the interior of the Riester’s Hilltop House, drawing from its collection of art, books, and furniture to create an evolving environment that bridges the Riesters’ legacy with each evening’s artist and theme. |
