We warmly welcomed Susan Light
On July 1, Susan Light will join CazArts as the non-profit organization’s first executive director.
Susan takes on this inaugural position at a crucial point in the growth of CazArts, our increasing service to the community, and the important role of the arts in the economic development and strengthening the vibrancy of our community.
Susan brings with her a wealth of experiences and a wide variety of skills. Some of these include:
- avid knitter,
- professional Chef’s Degree
- writer and test cook for Cook’s Illustrated Magazine/America’s Test Kitchen PBS television show
- PH.D in Literature,
- lived in Brazil, Montreal and Paris.
- served Cazenovia as a Village Trustee
- been on the Boards of Caz Forum, Project Coffee,
the Cazenovia Library, and CazCares
Susan Light has a range of professional experience in program management, publishing, communications, executive operations, and the public sector most recently serving as Assistant to the President of Colgate University.
For CazArts hiring an Executive Director is an exciting and great step forward in building a sustainable organization to better serve the community.
