Every day. We are have to say how humbled we are constantly by the opportunities presented by this community.
Last week we hosted The Cazenovia Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner. This dinner was hosted at The Hampton Inn (25 Laker Lane) and is always an incredible night to celebrate the business community in Cazenovia.
We had such a incredible turn out -- almost 100 members of the community and a very diverse representation of all the businesses. It was a great time had by all. An interactive night of entertainment featuring America's Got Talent's, Dwayne Hill who is an incredibly talented magician, but also a hysterical comedian who had us all in stitches the entire night.
Awards were given to very deserving recipients...
Business of the year: McKenzie Houseman / 20 East
Non-Profit of the year: CACDA
Person of the year: Joan Brooks
Each accepted their award and Simon Pearce Tree. I think we can speak for the whole room when we say it was very inspiring to all to see the amazing work they had all pursued within the community over many years of dedicated services.
One big surprise of the night was a $5000 contribution by Bob and Bobbi Constable to be allocated toward community events in 2024. Cazenovia Chamber President, Ralph Monforte put a challenge to the crowd to match that generous donation -- and wow, did they respond in force. Within 5 minutes we had raised an additional $5000 to magnify those efforts!
THANK YOU CAZENOVIA, WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL!
